Teesha Moore Patches - Sent

It has been a while since I've swapped on Craftster. My first swap back was another round of Teesha Moore style patches.  Many years ago I made a few for a swap, but I have never received any of my own. Soon that will change.
Both of my partners have received as I was super excited and had my patches sent long before the send out date.
For Golden Sunshine I made 2 snow patches as the first one just wasn't looking right to me but could make a good filler patch in a bag or journal cover.

I also went with her kawaii theme and made her this bear thinking about cookies.

And a happy sushi.

My other partner,  milkeway, loves Captain America,  Pokemon, and Harry Potter so I made these:

Halloween Swap Received

I received my package from my partner in a Halloween swap on Ravelry.  She sent me great goodies.

The candy was immediately confiscated by Steven and a fight ensued over who the gloves belong to.

And Athena has claimed the shawlette. The colors are so pretty and so much time went into this craft.

But the fabric...it's all mine.  Well, probably to make the kids Halloween stuff.
I have her package all taped up for a week now and ready for my lazy butt to get to the post office.

Thank you for the awesome package!  It totally made our day.

Harry Potter Swap Sent

A very sweet and talented Craftster did not receive her Harry Potter package and I was lucky enough to be able to step in and send her a parcel full of Harry Potter crafty goodness.

Her favorite class at Hogwarts is Divination, so I sent her crystal ball earrings and a set of crystal ball stitch markers.  These never could have been made without the help of my talented boyfriend.

I figured that during class she would need a mug rug to set her tea cup on, so I painted Always (her favorite quote) with a Deathly Hollows symbol for the A and machine quilted it in gold thread.

I wanted her to stay warm on her way to class, so I made her a Slytherin House scarf.  It is super long and cozy and I know have several requests at home for similar house scarves.

I wanted to add a little extra something to the package, so I sent her a HP themed charm bracelet filled with owls and a feather and fun yellow glass beads.  I also made (with help) these owl earrings (with Slytherin colors) to help her speak with Hedwig (or her own pet) whenever she needed.

I had so much fun making this package and have been told that she loves everything.  Swap anxiety gone.  I am such a swap-a-holic.

Tim Burton Swap - SENT

My spoilee received her package!  I am so pleased that she loved all the items I carefully chose and picked out for her.

I included a box of Hibiscus tea, two Burton-esque spools of ribbon, black rose buttons, some Halloween buttons and scissor charms, Beetlejuice iron-ons, skull washi tape, Wonka candy, and some black and white tweed wool/acrylic yarn.

At the bottom of the picture is a scarflette with a handmade rose pin, silver circular pin, and skeleton hands pin.  Then there is this awesome Sandworm tote bag.

And Steven pitched in and made these awesome Edward Scissorhands stitch markers.

I stitched up this little notions pouch with Lydia Deets in her red wedding dress on the front and filled it with 2 sets of circular knitting needles.

This next item was hard to let go of.  I really want one now, but I knew that it would be very loved in her home.  A Beetlejuice apron with her favorite quote (and mine) stenciled on the front and red lace (like Lydia's dress) on the back.

This was such a fun swap.  I can't wait for the next one.

Tim Burton Swap Received

I received an amazing swap package from the owner of Sweet Serendipty 37 Etsy shop.  She was my stalker/spoiler in the Tim Burton Swap on Ravelry.  The Odd Ducks Swap group has been so awesome to be apart off and this is my 2nd swap in that group.  My spoilee will receive soon and I will post all the goodies I made for her.  But for now, on to the pictures!

Here is the box after I opened.  All those goodies waiting for me to peek inside.

The first thing I opened is this incredible Beetlejuice pillow!  It is going to sit on my bed in all of its awesomeness.

Then I opened up some yummy K Cup coffees that Steven is super excited about nd some yummy yarn that I cannot wait to knit with.  A few more packages revealed a pumpkin stamp, a Batman flashlight (but she said I had to give it to the kids) , black and white ribbon, and the book Burton on Burton which Steven and I have been longing to read.
But wait!  There is so much more!  Oreo truffles.  Those are demolished already.  See the pics of my kiddos for reference.  There is also a pattern for an adorable sand worm scarf like Lydia Deets wears in the cartoon, and a very nice note.

I have wanted a Zero scarf for YEARS!!  And look!  He is mine...although Persephone likes him too.

And a Jack Skellington shirt.  It fits comfotable and is on an awesome jersey fabric that is super soft.  The note said something about being pajamas, but this is one kind of PJ's I'll allow in public.
Thank you so much for the wonderful package!  It really made my day.  I am  hoping my spoilee enjoys her gifts as much as I love mine.
